I'm hoping this might work well as a way for us to share projects, ideas and FOs, encourage each other, and maybe even get back to the occasional SAL
Just to add a bit of colour, this is the blackwork piece I'm working on.
I can't remember if I've told you, but I'm part of a group that knits, crochets or sews items to sell for mental health chariti...
Ah, I can respond if I just use a comment :)
ReplyDeleteIs that silver thread on white! What's the design?
ReplyDeleteIt's a blue/lavender/green variegated Helen. Looking back I think I think I should have chosen something a bit more of a contrast! It's an xxInfinitystitchesxx design (Etsy) called Diamond Felur de Lys.
DeleteOh, it looks really pretty the way it is and will look even better in "real life".
DeleteHopefully soon you will have that finished.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't be long, though I'm having a few days off after cataract surgery this week. Hoping to get back to it at the weekend :)
DeleteIs the eye you had surgery on that good that quickly?
DeleteIt's pretty good, tons better than the fog I was living in last week, and the first one is amazing! I'm managing reading and the computer well, so I think it's worth atry tomorrow :)
DeleteFinished the stitching this afternoon! I haven't taken a picture yet, it's currently cooling in the freezer so I can press it tomorrow. :)
DeleteOh wonderful! I'm so pleased for you, Jacky, it must be so satisfying 😊
DeleteIt certainly is, Helen - now I feel I can try a bit of cross stitch again :)
DeleteHope I can figure things out on here, had to wait til I could get on the iPad as it was too fiddly for my liking in the phone….did come across my own old blogs in the process though and found my almost finished game board 😀

The black work piece is beautiful, when I don’t have too many projects on the go might do a little myself 😊😊
